Abstract

A hundred years after its theoretical prediction by Einstein, the first direct observation of a black hole through gravitational waves strengthened the research on these peculiar objects, whose effects on the surrounding spacetime already allowed us to indirectly infer their existence. After their mathematical construction as Einstein theory solutions by Schwarzschild, Reissner, Nordström, and Kerr, Hawking and Bekenstein works shaped a new framework, black hole thermodynamics, based on the analogy of their mechanical laws and those of the classical theory. In this research project we aim to study some of the thermodynamical properties of a family of black holes surrounded by an anisotropic fluid, the so-called Kiselev metric, which includes several classical solutions and offers the possibility to yield a more realistic toymodel of an astronomical black hole due to the available choices of surrounding fluid.
