Abstract

The high consumption of fossil resources associated with growing environmental problems due to their use on a global scale requires the identification of alternatives for the generation of fuels, chemicals and functional materials. In this context, the use of compounds derived from biomass is a promising strategy and can be enhanced by the use of new technologies. In this project, we propose the synthesis of new terpene-derived building blocks in a continuous flow regime, employing ethenolysis and photooxygenation reactions.
