The research proposed in this project seeks to analyze Monteiro Lobato's editorial practices in the romance A Moreninha, by Joaquim Manuel de Macedo, re-edited by Companhia Graphico Editora Monteiro Lobato in 1924, in an edition "carefully purged of defects",on the Coleção Popular.
