Abstract Congenital syphilis (CS) is still present in Brazil, with 24,000 cases reported in 2019; it is due to the fact that the pregnant woman is contaminated and, possibly, due to lack of attention to the prenatal period. The objective of this study is to identify spatial patterns of CS in microregions of the state of São Paulo in two years - 2015 and 2019. SC data will be obtained from DATASUS and transformed into rates per 1000 live births, and spatial analysis will provide data from spatial autocorrelation, univariate and bivariate global Moran indices using TerraView and GeoDa programs. Maternal information and access to health services will be obtained. Thematic maps will be built with these variables and the results will be made available to health managers and published in periodicals in the area. Keywords: congenital syphilis, spatial analysis, child health | |
