Abstract

This "BEPE-DD" project is part of the PhD project with FAPESP process number 2021/06976-6. Within the original goals of the associated PhD, this project proposes in loco research activities in the ALICE Experiment at the CERN LHC, in Geneva, Switzerland. The goals of this Internship Abroad is to gain expertise with the renewed ALICE Analysis Framework indirect interaction with the experts and developers of this Framework, focused in the study of the production and dynamics of the so-called hard probes (jets, heavy quarks and high-energy photons), in special for topics involving jets. One of the other goals is the participation in the data taking, the so called shifts and other experimental related activities, such as the contribution to a service work, which is a kind of work of general interest of the collaboration and not only for this PhD project interests. And last, but not least, to give the opportunity for the PhD candidate to participate in person of the collaboration events, such as collaboration meetings, CERN seminars, etc. (AU)
