Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the knowledge of parents and/or guardians of children under 5 years old about the vaccine against Covid-19. This is a cross-sectional and analytical study and the research population will be composed of parents and/or guardians of children aged 6 months to 4 years, 11 months and 29 days in Brazil who agree to participate in the study. The sample will be for convenience and data collection will be carried out through a self-reported questionnaire widely disseminated on social media and municipal health departments. The data will be analyzed using descriptive analysis, and subsequently, the data will be transferred to the R Program, where t-tests will be performed to compare means and chi-square tests to study association with categorical data. For all comparisons, a significance level of 5% will be adopted. The study will be sent to the Ethics Committee (CEP) of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) for consideration.
