Abstract

This project focuses on the development of electroanalytical methodologies for the quantification of bioproducts of the classes rhamnolipids (RHAs), xylooligosaccharides (XOSs), Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs). These substances can be produced by microorganisms and have interesting properties such as biodegradability, increased metabolic potential of microorganisms and bioremediation of pollutants. They come from industrial fruit growing processes and can be obtained from orange, banana and guava residues. Molecularly imprinted sensors with electropolymerized polymers (e-MIPs) will be developed using polyamino acids and carbon nanomaterials in their composition based on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). For the electrochemical and morphological characterization of the electrodes, the techniques of cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray spectroscopy will be used. by energy dispersion (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). It is expected the development of sensors with high selectivity and with small values of detection limits, for the quantification of bioproducts from fruit waste.
