Abstract

The urban climate is a direct product of atmospheric dynamics and the different elements that make up the Earth's surface, with the phenomenon of heat islands (ICU) being one of the effects generated by these interactions that shape the climate. And, although these events are more noticeable in large urban agglomerations, medium and small cities are also affected. From this perspective, the main objective of the work is to analyze the urban climate of the municipality of Regente Feijó (SP), taking thermal comfort and the thermodynamic subsystem as a reference. To this end, the search for bibliographic and documentary references will be used to understand the current urban morphology of the municipality. For urban characterization, an analysis of images acquired on the United States Geological Survey Service (USGS) platform will be carried out, while information for geoenvironmental aspects will be obtained through the IBGE Maps Portal, Meteorological Database for Teaching and Research ( INMET) and the Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo (Cetesb). Finally, air temperature data will be collected through fixed points and mobile transects, and after these collections, all data will be treated and processed using the software: AutoCad LT 2024 and QGis version 3.30.1. In the end, it is expected to characterize important elements that define the environmental quality of the municipality, in addition to exploring the urban climate as an indicator that can provide this data, in order to guide new studies and even public policies within the municipality.
