Abstract

Patients with chronic renal failure on dialysis respond humoral to coronavirus vaccination schedules superior to kidney transplant recipients. It is possible that immunosuppressive medications interfere with the robustness and durability of the responseimmunological. Furthermore, a Chilean study with real-life data, involving more than 50 thousandindividuals, suggested that the durability of the response is influenced by the type of vaccine used, as note that IgG seropositivity was lower after vaccination with CoronaVac versus Pfizer (77.4% versus 96.5%) and declined over time since vaccination with CoronaVac, but not with Pfizer.
