Abstract

Food goes beyond nutritional functions and assumes social and symbolic meanings. Despite the significance of food well-being (FWB) to Transformative Consumer Research (TCR), no effort has been made to propose a reliable and valid scale to measure FWB. This research project proposes developing and validating the FWB Scale based on the FWB framework (Block et al., 2011) to assess the current levels of individuals' FWB. For this purpose, five studies are presented based on the best practices of the literature on scale development and validation.
