Abstract

The project presents scientific outreach strategies for the research project "Coffee Change: An Integrated Analysis of Risks, Challenges, and Opportunities of Coffee Farming in the Face of Climate Change." This project, funded by CNPq, is conducted by researchers from the Center for Meteorological and Climatic Research Applied to Agriculture (CEPAGRI), the Center for Creativity Development (NUDECRI), and the Institute of Economics (IE), all based at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). Coffee Change is part of the Agro thematic axis of the BI0S Center, funded by Fapesp. Other national and international institutes also collaborate with the BI0S project, which is expected to last for 5 years.The current work aims to produce journalistic materials to disseminate the research results conducted with coffee farmers. The goal is to enhance the visibility of these results among the general population, particularly regarding coffee producers' perceptions of climate change and their willingness to make changes that impact various dimensions of the sector. The project also involves implementing scientific communication practices among the researchers involved.The dissemination products will be distributed through scientific journalism publications from the Laboratory of Advanced Journalism Studies (Labjor/Unicamp), such as the magazine "ComCiência" and the "Oxigênio" podcast, as well as other communication channels that may be established.
