Abstract The present project aims to develop solid composites and inks for production of conventional and flexible printed electrodes. In the formulation of these materials, graphite will be used together with polymers derived from vegetable oils. These compounds are intended for use in sensing environmental samples and clinical diagnostics, detecting analytes of interest in pharmaceutical, biological, and environmental areas. Additionally, there is a perspective for remote application and miniaturization for use in point-of-care devices. The solid composites, inks, monomers, and polymers will be characterized by Simultaneous Thermogravimetry/Derivative Thermogravimetry-Differential Thermal Analysis (TG/DTG-DTA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy (FTIR), Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR 1H), Carbon-13 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR 13C), and voltammetric techniques. | |
