Abstract

This project proposes the development and analysis of scenic practices, through a study group, based on the Choreographic Game, created by Lígia Losada Tourinho (UFRJ), and its principles, with the support of other scenic creation and improvisation exercises such as, for example, Viewpoints, as systematized by Anne Bogart and Tina Landau; the Theatrical Games by Viola Spolin and the Games for actors and non-actors, by Augusto Boal. The intention of these practices is the development and study of an imaginatively useful environment, with a broad collective relationship, non-hierarchical and capable of creating, in a co-authorial way, language and dramaturgy. Thus, through the Choreographic Game and other support practices, we seek a procedure that operates in the field of performing arts and presence, constantly changing in its improvised guidelines, rebuilding itself with each new proposition from the participants and creating or incorporating new games, dynamics and scenic structures within themselves. In a transversal way, the research proposes to investigate how this device could be capable of encompassing varied technical-cultural repertoires, acting as an articulating mechanism of multi and transdisciplinary experiences and knowledge, and how it can become both a creative and pedagogical process, or even a scenic or performatic experience in itself.
