Abstract

It is currently known that cure or improvement of pelvic floor disfunction symptoms are related to patient adherence to proposed treatment. One of the barriers for adherence is the women's lack of information about the function and location of these muscles, in addition to normalization of symptoms and embarrassment to share what they are feeling and seek professional help of health. The present study aims to understand the attitudes of women who participated in an educational group about the female pelvic floor in relation to interpersonal communication on the topics covered. This is a secondary publication of a qualitative longitudinal study conducted with women who participated in an educational activity focused on the floorfemale pelvic. Data will be analyzed inductively by one researcher and verified independently by a second researcher in three steps.
