Abstract

The goal of this proposal is to assess the effects of various urban policies (e.g., transportation, housing, urban regulation) on socioeconomic variables using frontier econometric methods. The impact evaluation seeks to determine whether the urban policy is effective, the magnitude of the returns, and which individuals are most affected (positively or negatively) by the urban policy.
