Abstract

The postgraduate degree in Science in Gastroenterology, which combines Digestive System Surgery and Clinical Gastroenterology, had its regulations and standardization carried out recently and is growing rapidly. Therefore, there is a need for a deeper look at: a) the profile of postgraduate students; b) how program graduates are positioned in the job market; c) the impact of postgraduate studies on the lives and careers of postgraduate students; and d) what their perception is about postgraduate studies. Furthermore, this study has an impact on the evaluation of the postgraduate program with CAPES, see that this is one of the criteria to be evaluated. All graduates of the postgraduate course in Science in Gastroenterology at FMUSP who completed the program between 2012 and 2023, consecutively, will be evaluated. The online survey form will be sent via email and/or WhatsApp to those who meet the criteria. The form was built and data will be collected and stored in an electronic database (REDCap - Research Electronic Data Capture).
