Abstract

The aim of the study will be the evaluation of long-term clinical and radiographic criteria for definitive single crowns obtained by 3D printing on two types of dental implants with different macrogeometries. The implants (n = 60) will be installed in patients (n = 30) that require two single crowns and are suitable for implant treatment. The implants will be divided into two groups (n = 30) according to the implant received (Maestro® CM AR, Implacil de Bortoli and Helix GM, Neodent®). Four to six months after implant surgery, each group will be subdivided into two subgroups (n = 15), which will receive crowns made from two definitive 3D printing materials (Smart Print Bio Vitality®, Smart Dent, São Carlos, Brazil and priZma 3D Bio Crown®, Makertech Labs, Tatuí, Brazil). Periodic evaluations will be carried out after (initial) 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months and 18 months, where data will be obtained on clinical and radiographic criteria such as ISQ (Implant Stability Quotient), BIC (Bone to Implant Contact), BAFO (Bone Area Fraction Occupied), PPD (probing depth), GI (gingival index) and PI (plaque index). Scans will also be taken of the prosthetic crown and the antagonist region, which will be superimposed (GOM Inspect, GOM GbmH) to obtain data on wear over time of the materials tested and the antagonist teeth. The normality and homoscedasticity of the data will be assessed in order to choose the most appropriate statistical test. Comparisons will be made between evaluation times.
