Abstract

One of the particularities of the astroparticle physics measurements is that the cosmicparticle is not directly detected by the experiment. The experiments are only able to measurethe indirect signal produced by the air shower initiated by the cosmic particles. Thereforethe object measured by the telescope is the shower from which three basic information areextracted: a) cosmic particle type, b) energy and c) arrival direction. Using the individualinformation of each shower, statistical significant data is composed: a) energy spectrum, b)sky map and c) time variation of the flux. In order to understand the measurement, it ismandatory to simulate the detector properties which is only possible by using Monte Carlosimulation of the air shower. We proposed to investigate in this project the uncertainties inthe prediction of the shower simulation is the hadronic interaction model and the improve-ment of the rejection of proton if the muonic component of air shower were measured by anauxiliary detector.
