Abstract

One of the main difficulties in ensuring security in an IoT environment concerns traffic monitoring since, unlike a conventional network environment, an IoT hub cannot see all surrounding devices or all communications coming from them. The Post-Doc Fellow involved in this project will work on planning a monitoring infrastructure for a large-scale IoT environment and a mechanism that analyzes the environment's traffic to identify attacks with low rates of false positives, which often occur due to the natural dynamics of the environment.
