Abstract

In 2005, the discovery of the Quark Gluon Plasma at RHIC was announced. Today the challenge is to create it in other conditions of temperatures and density. Various laboratories will take part in this search (RHIC, FAIR, NICA and possibly J-PARCHI) as well as many theory groups. Because of this, it seems a good choice for a young graduate student in the field, to work on the Beam Energy Scan data and QCD phase diagram. The objective of this Ph.D. project is to study the effects of a first order phase transition and critical point on Hanbury-Brown-Twiss interferometry
