Abstract

The present PHD project is aimed at studying nonequilibrium systems presenting collective behavior and will be divided in three parts.In the first part, the thermodynamics and performance of different models presenting collective behavior will be investigated. We intend to obtain the phase diagram as well as the thermodynamic and statistical properties of power and efficiency in each on of the phases. In the second part, we intend to propose an "active matter" version of the above model. The third part of the project is related to thematic project 2022/15453-0, entitled"Correlated quantum materials", coordinated by Eduardo Miranda (UNICAMP) in which I am the main researcher and aims to study optimal strategies ({\it Pareto fronts}) for the aforementioned thermal machine models.
