Abstract

The undergraduate research fellow will be included in the project to contribute in the area of resource allocation with signaling reduction. Thus, the algorithms to be investigated during the fellowship include new architectures of wireless communication networks with multiple antennas, resource allocation algorithms, optimization techniques, and backhaul signaling reduction approaches. In this case, techniques for power, user, and frequency allocation will be developed in multi-antenna systems using the concept of cell-free networks and precoders in the presence of realistically modeled channels. The central idea of the proposed approach is to explore optimization algorithms for resource allocation in a network architecture based on the concept of cell-free networks and distributed antennas to improve the coverage of 6th generation wireless communication networks and future generations. Precoding and resource allocation algorithms involving power levels and access points with antennas will be developed.
