Abstract

Bacteriophages, or phages, are viruses that exclusively infect and kill bacteria. With the growing antimicrobial resistance crisis, phage therapy has sparked renewed interest. A major barrier for phage therapy is the specificity of phage on bacteria, and therefore, it is difficult to efficiently select the appropriate phage. [1]. To facilitate this process, the development of a database and web interface for data manipulation is essential. This interface will streamline the management and analysis of experimental data, allowing researchers to efficiently identify the most effective phages for combating specific bacterial infections.
