Abstract Random cellular automata are models that combine the simplicity of cellular automata with the unpredictability of stochastic rules, allowing for the modeling of complex phenomena in biological, social, and physical systems. This project proposes the theoretical and computational study of these automata, exploring their emergent properties such as spatial patterns, phase transitions, and critical behavior. The goal is to investigate how random cellular automata can capture characteristic behaviors of interacting stochastic systems, with applications in epidemic dynamics, information propagation, and ecological systems. | |
