Abstract

This study's general objective is to analyze nurses' knowledge about the applicability of AI tools in the health sector. This is a cross-sectional and analytical study, using quantitative variables to collect data on the object of the study. The research population will be composed of nurses from the state of São Paulo who agree to participate in the study. The sample will be for convenience, that is, non-probabilistic and non-random, according to the ease of access to participants, considering the availability of people to be part of the sample in a given time interval. Thus, the research will be widely disseminated on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp groups and by the Regional Nursing Council of the State of São Paulo. Data will be collected through a questionnaire self-answered by participants. Initially, descriptive analysis of the data will be carried out, and subsequently, inferential statistical analysis, performing t tests to compare means and chi-square tests to study association with categorical data. A significance level of 5% will be adopted for all comparisons. The study will be sent to the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of São Carlos for consideration.
