Abstract

Plato, in his work, develops a theory that postulates the existence of immaterial and intelligible essences or substances (¿¿¿¿¿¿), named ¿¿¿¿¿, ¿¿¿¿ and ¿¿¿¿¿¿, which constitute the the philosopher's view of existence. This project consists of a pilot whose objective is generating a digital lexicon of philosophical concepts aimed at the identification and description of the intelligible ¿¿¿¿¿¿ postulated by Plato and its conceptual relations between other elements. As a pilot, the focus of the project be will specifically the dialogues Parmenides, Timaeus and Sophist as the corpus of study (BURNET ed., 1903). The aimed product will be characterized by an organization based on the relationships between the terms according Cabré (1998) and L'Homme (2020). This project is based on a corpus-driven terminological approach (BIBER, 2015), which uses quantitative and qualitative methods to extract and select lemmas. This proposal is also linked to the project "Letras clássicas digitais: interligando línguas antigas ao português e aprimorando um modelo automático de alinhamento de tradução" of the Regular Aid of the e-Science program, proc. 22/09490-0, as it is Aligned translations of the aforementioned works produced will favor the extraction of lexical items in parallel in two languages ¿¿with co-occurrences of the lexemes ¿¿¿¿¿, ¿¿¿¿ and ¿¿¿¿¿¿, through concordancers - such as Voyant Tools and AntConc . Subsequently, there will be a selection of the data extracted, by means of lexical semantic methods and terminology criteria. Thus, the production of this philosophical lexicon will be differentiated from the others - such as Ast (1835) and Schäfer (2012) - by its digital support, relational organization and methods of corpus linguistics and terminology.
