Abstract

This project aims to develop and validate an integrated platform utilizing Virtual Reality (VR),Augmented Reality (AR), Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), and Electroencephalography (EEG)to assess and enhance cognitive functions in patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).The platform will employ Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to analyze neuromarkers andbiomarkers for early detection of cognitive decline. The research will be conducted in multiplephases, including literature review, equipment integration and testing, development of a CognitiveAssessment Battery (CAB), and AI algorithm creation for real-time analysis of brain activity. The project is expected to contribute significantly to the field by providing an innovative tool forcognitive assessment, validated AI algorithms, and fostering international research collaboration. In addition to advancing the research group's capabilities, the outcomes of this work could leadto breakthroughs in healthcare diagnostics and cognitive rehabilitation methods for MCI patients.
