Abstract

This research project aims to deepen the student's knowledge in quantum machine learning, focusing on the implementation of variational quantum circuits to estimate the degree of non-Markovianity in open quantum systems. During the three-month exchange, the student will learn how to configure and optimize variational quantum circuits, in addition to exploring the use of quantum kernels to improve the analysis of qubit-environment interactions. The experience gained will be fundamental for the application of these techniques in their current and future research, contributing to the advancement of quantum computing and information.
