Abstract

The scientific initiation research has as its object the bibliographic survey, the bibliometric study on the production and knowledge in platform studies, datafication and algorithmic applications in the field of communication. Documents on the organization of communication platform companies will also be the subject of this survey. The research will be carried out during the Project "Datafication of communication and work activities in communicators' arrangements: the struggles with the determinations of platform companies". The main objective of scientific initiation scholarship holders in the appreciation of this object will be to produce bibliographic reference elements that can help to subsidize the Project. The methodology will be the bibliographic research in different national and international databases and the bibliometric study. Documentary research will also be used to collect data on communication platforms. As a result, it is expected the production of a database with the references, organized so that it can serve other researchers and the interested public. This database can be used by the libraries of the Project's partner Universities.
