Abstract

The project Researching Kirimurê: Converging Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, which is the result of the "first wave" movement of concerted research on and in Baía de Todos os Santos (BTS), MULTI-BTS, with a time horizon of 30 years, with the participation of researchers from public universities in Bahia. The Project is linked to the INCT for Energy and Environment. In this context, this proposal involves principles of the UN 2030 Agenda, in particular objective 10, "Reduction of Inequalities", which is transversal to the other 16, and the "blue bioeconomy" with a focus on scarcity and abundance that represent the local focus, with global repercussions. In this sense, the quality of food, air, water, environmental preservation, sustainable use and/or recovery of impacted areas, educational technologies, the quality of education and the quality of health are structured based on a trans and multidisciplinary articulation system, with the objective of evaluating the spatio-temporal distribution patterns of organic and inorganic contaminants in food, water, atmospheric, pelagic and benthic environments, as well as the flows of said contaminants at ocean-continent interfaces atmosphere in order to understand the processes and mechanisms responsible for their transport, accumulation and biogeochemical cycles.
