Abstract

1. Preparation of advanced materials and their application (materials with defined morphology) in H2O2 electrogeneration, initially preparing and characterizing. The preparation will involve the Bottom-up chemical method. The physicochemical characterization will be carried out with the techniques of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman spectroscopy, and contact angle. The electrochemical characterization will be performed by cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep in rotating disk-ring systems, where the percentage of hydrogen peroxide generated and the number of electrons transferred will be measured; 2. The electrogenerated H2O2 shall be produced in a bench electrochemical cell or a flow reactor with gaseous diffusion cathodes with or without the presence of modifiers made of advanced materials. 3. Application of modified GDEs using boron-doped diamond, platinum, or photoelectrocatalytic electrodes in oxidative electrochemical processes (PEOA) for the degradation of organic compounds (emerging pollutants) - evaluation of the efficiency of these processes and the identification of degradation by-products.4. Preparation of Scientific Reports and articles for submission in journals with selective editorial policy and papers for presentation at national and international congresses.5. Thesis Defense.
