Abstract

This project aims to analyze poetic anthologies organized by intellectual women that published literature created by women, relating them to social changes, the place of women's issues, and the themes and debates within feminist thought during the late 1970s to early 1980s in Brazil. The anthologies are Palavra de mulher (poesia feminina brasileira contemporânea) (1979), Mulheres da vida (1978), and 26 poetas hoje (1976), organized respectively by Maria de Lourdes Hortas, Leila Míccolis, and Heloísa Teixeira. By exploring the relationship between ideas, trajectories, and social processes, this investigation hypothesizes that this literature produced and organized by women embodies a social language that broadens the perspective on Brazilian feminisms. This will be done through bibliographic analysis, document review, and interviews.
