Abstract

This project aims to develop optimization models to jointly study an Agrovoltaic Plant as part of Unicamp's Sustainable Campus initiative. The integration of solar energy generation with sustainable agriculture and water resource management will be studied, taking advantage of technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital agriculture. The focus is on state-of-the-art research and optimal sizing of the systems involved, with potential for advances in renewable energy, sustainable agricultural practices and optimization of water resources. This research aims to strengthen smart municipality initiatives, with a special focus on solutions for rural areas of municipalities and applications for small rural producers, contributing to a sustainable future and to increasing the income of this population.
