Abstract

The research proposed here, entitled Outdoor school activities in contact with nature: where are they, what are they like and what effects do they have? Contributions to MIL Cities, aims to understand and analyze outdoor school experiences in contact with nature - AEALCN and their effects on the integral development of the participants of the school community, mainly children and adolescents, and their contribution to the proposal of MIL Cities. This research will continue the investigation entitled "Mapping of elementary schools with outdoor school activities in contact with nature", in which 65 responses were collected from Brazilian educators who reported their pedagogical experiences with outdoor activities and in contact with nature. In the current research, such data will be analyzed through content analysis, constituting secondary data from the responses obtained. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to contribute to the understanding of the importance of outdoor activities and in contact with nature in the process of integral development of children and adolescents and their relevance for the studies of MIL Cities, as a proposal to improve the quality of life in cities.
