Abstract

More than ever, scientific dissemination should be considered an essential activity, carried out in parallel with the development of research from the very beginning, particularly when carried out in public institutions. In addition to contributing to the scientific and technological education of the lay public, popularizing scientific concepts and methods, and disseminating results to society is a way of accounting for the public resources used in this research. The objective of these scholarships is to develop work to disseminate the area of ¿¿nuclear physics and particle physics, especially the physical concepts involved in this project, as well as the technological developments arising from experimental activities. Considering its characteristics, this is not a work that can be done in an improvised manner or as an accessory to the scientific production itself and must rely on personnel who are already working in the area or who are undergoing training in this field. Thus, the scholarships aim to both rely on the knowledge already existing among the professionals selected, as well as to provide them with a higher level of specialization. (AU)
