Abstract

This research project aims to conduct interviews with public school teachers in the city of Campinas, with the aim of analyzing their perceptions about teaching Portuguese as a second language in the process of learning to write for deaf students. The study seeks to understand the pedagogical practices used and the challengesfaced by teachers in classroom practice with deaf students within the public network of Campinas. For this, two public schools in Campinas, one municipal and one state, will be chosen to carry out semi-structured interviews with teachers, in addition to analyzing the researcher's field diary with notes on facts or information about the research. In the end, it is intended to provide a basis for reflection on the topic and the aforementioned aspects that permeate it, better understanding the functioning of these schools and the type of education they offer to the deaf public.
