Abstract

The development of new materials for technological applications has achieved significant advances in the areas of dielectric thin film deposition. Techniques such as pulsed laser deposition, atomic layer deposition, molecular beam epitaxy and reactive sputtering have been systematically studied to obtain materials with improved characteristics for certain applications. In this sense, the present project proposes the study of obtaining magnetoelectric multiferroic thin films of BiFeO3 via deposition to control characteristics such as single-phase crystal structure, uniform and dense morphology and ferroelectric domains with low coercive field hysteresis.
