Abstract

The project aims to implement an atomic optical parametric oscillator (OPO) to read the magnetometer that is going to be develope in the Young Investigator project.The atomic OPO we proposed is an efficient source of two-mode squeezed light with variable pump power below the typical power used in an optical parametric amplifier (OPA). The cavity-atom dynamics offers the possibility of generating light in different wavelengths with the same optical system. The hybrid OPO, operating simultaneously at 795nm and 895nm, would be a new source of squeezed light and unique of its kind. (AU)
