Abstract

The virus that causes coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was identified by first time in December 2019 and was responsible for the pandemic that resulted in global health crisis (MORIARTY et al., 2020; NALBANDIAN et al., 2021). As the population of patients recovering from COVID-19 is growing, it is essential to establish an understanding of the health issues surrounding them. Justification: a search was carried out in November 2023 in the virtual databases National Library of Medicine (PubMed) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), no studies were found that addressedthe interrupted time series analysis, temporal projection or the effects of the pandemic COVID-19 in Notifiable Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) compulsory diagnoses among females at national level. Objective: The general objective is to analyze the incidence of compulsory notification STIs among females in Brazil. Material and methods: This study is characterized as ecological. Form of analysis results: The study population will be composed of females aged 15years or more, living with HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis or acquired, congenital or syphilis in pregnant women, reported to the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN). For temporal analysis will consider the monthly incidence rate, by region of the country. Impact and expected contributions: With the information collected it will be possible to compare the incidence of STIs compared to the projection for the period and set specific goals for diagnosis and treatment for the population, thus effectively using testing quickly and widely for users, seeking early diagnosis.
