Abstract

The Scientific Initiation student will monitor the routine of rearing, fattening, and slaughter, as well as the quality analysis of Nelore beef cattle, assisting in the implementation of good management practices during these periods. In addition, the student will be responsible for assisting in weighing the animals, providing their diet, general rearing and fattening management, slaughter, collecting and preparing meat samples for shear force analysis, data analysis, and writing scientific abstracts for publication in abstracts and scientific articles.
