Abstract The objective of this postdoctoral proposal is the development, validation, and application of control modules that integrate signals from different sources to identify motor intention, such as residual movement, electromyography, or electroencephalography, depending on the availability and quality of the signals.Furthermore, the aim is to develop a virtual reality (AR) or augmented reality (AR) platform that allows for training and customization of these modules for each user. This platform is expected to assist in better and faster user adaptation to the device, reducing learning times and increasing user acceptance.Because this is a project associated with a FAPESP Center for Science and Development (CCD), the signals used in the control project, as well as the acquisition, filtering, and control modules, will be developed jointly with the other members of the center. This approach aims to ensure modularity and compatibility with other devices being developed, whether wheelchairs or exoskeletons. | |
