Abstract

The integration of C-H bond functionalization into retrosynthetic analysis facilitates access to a wider array of molecular structures that, through conventional synthetic methods, may prove challenging to achieve or could require extensive synthetic pathways. In this context, the objective of this internship project is the application of C-H bond oxidation in the synthesis of nucleoside analogs, which offers a substantial opportunity for the discovery and development of new pharmacological agents.
