Abstract

This research project presents the guidelines for the preparation of a final report on the current trends in the debate on standardizing the musical notation system for the basic drum sections instruments of the samba schools in São Paulo's carnival parades, similar to those in Rio de Janeiro. The research aims to present the main systematization proposals, compare them and suggest the best writing practices based on the parameters established here. (AU)
