Abstract

The mining and analysis of large volumes of unstructured data-such as legal documents, transcripts, and correspondence-represent a highly valuable area for the project, considering the responsibilities of the PGE and the project's scope. Advanced techniques in natural language processing, machine learning, and predictive analytics can uncover hidden insights within these data to support criminal investigations, labor analyses, litigation pattern identification, audits, and other collaborative elements that inform strategic decision-making.The inclusion of an undergraduate research assistant (IC) will provide support in the development of scripts and data organization, which are essential for handling unstructured data and complement the legal and forensic expertise already present in the team. The main responsibilities of this role include collecting, preparing, and modeling relevant datasets, as well as deriving and communicating insights in a clear and actionable manner. (AU)
