Abstract This postdoctoral project aims to investigate the effects of spatiotemporal multiscale on plasticity associated with neuronal interconnection for learning. Using a set of neuronal models where the connections arising from plasticity have their dynamics regulated by different time scales and multiple limited regions capable of connection, we will investigate how the dynamics of the ensemble (neuronal firing) are affected and how the multiscale configuration context leads to a scenario where the ensemble firings are similar in response to the same sequence of internal stimuli.
