Abstract

This project intends to understand what kind of subject is supposed to be the perfect self according to different proposals of teaching in Brazil, taking the Brazilian Educational Reforms as the basis for our inquiry. Accordingly, we will sketch a historical view regarding the function designated to the education in the western culture, particularly in Brazil. (AU)
