Abstract

The use of computational tools to aid diagnosis of breast cancer, based upon shape analysis of masses, gains increasing interest and credibility under the field of radiology. The proposal of this work consists on the implementation of image features able to describe shape of images that present breast masses, allowing comparative analysis that point out the best descriptors for classification of lesions according to the degree of malignity.
