Abstract

This project will allow the student to participate in the reduction and analysis of data obtained in the Survey of Interstellar Polarization at LNA. The goal is the analysis of data on open clusters and high-latitude clouds. The student may participate in observing missions whenever his classes allow him to. These activities should provide the student exposure to astronomical image processing in the context of a current research project.
