Abstract

Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) have an increasing importance in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications. Amongst the methods available for DEM production, this project will focus on automatic digital photogrammetric restitution of stereoscopic pairs of orbital images. The stereoscopic pairs to be analyzed are ALOS-PRISM images of the high Ribeira river valley (southern São Paulo state), which will be processed with ENVI's DEM extraction module.
