Abstract

This project's objective is to develop a decision making system to define a robot team's behavior according to its environment, using a Rule-Based Fuzzy System. This system will process the imput parameters which represent the robot's environment accordingly and return a specific action which will be performed by a strategy based on the Potential Field Theory. This approach will be realized on a Robot Soccer environment. To realize this project, the student will study concepts of Fuzzy Logic and Fuzzy Rule Based Systems on the scope of decision making, movement strategies based on the Potential Field technique, uses of behavior to model intelligent systems, and the Robot Soccer environment accordingly to the RoboCup's standards. The implementation will be made in the C++ language and the tests will be made on the USPDS simulator, developed in LAR-ICMC-USP.
